Chapter 1

      “TITANS GO!!" Robin yelled as his team members spread out to attack. Doctor Light was using the cities power plant to drain power from the local buildings to fuel his light beams. Starfire attacked first with an ariel assault she shot several star bolts at the villain, but Dr. light dodged them as if they were mere pebbles."Whats the matter Titans!?," he said "Still haven't seen the LIGHT?” With one blast to Starfire's abdomen she dropped like a fly. Cyborg was up next with a lucky right punch to the face Dr. Light was knocked off his feet, Next up was Robin using his power staff to deflect Dr. Light’s beams. “Look on the bright side!” Robin said “when in jail just look towards the…” “Light!” beast boy shouted before turning into a ram and knocking the villain into a nearby wall. It was all up to Raven to deliver the final blow. While levitated Raven began to chant, “Azarath, Metrione, Zinth-…”  Raven’s face began to look red as she suddenly lost consciousness and began to fall.  “Raven!”  Robin shouted as the titans rushed to Raven’s side. It was Beast Boy, who using some quick thinking, transformed into a polar bear and cushioned Raven’s fall. While the titans were distracted Dr. Light was able to gather to his feet. “Looks like your dark friend isn’t feeling so well,” said the villain, “Allow me to shed some LIGHT on the situation” Dr. Light aimed his weapon toward an unconscious Raven that lay atop beast boy’s stomach. Beast boy, Cyborg , and Robin remained at Ravens side. “You kids aren’t to BRIGHT are you,” said Dr. Light.  Suddenly, a green starbolt clashed with Dr. Lights light beam, “NO...IT IS YOU WHO IS NOT SO BRIGHT!” said the enraged Starfire, “FRIEND RAVEN WILL NOT BE RECEIVING ANY SHEDED LIGHT!” Dr. Light began to retreat into the city. Starfire proceeded after the villain shooting one last starbolt, starfire was able to damage the equipment on Dr. Light’s left arm.
“Let him go Star,” said Robin, “But Robin are we not going to-…” asked Starfire, “We will but first lets find out what’s wrong with Raven.” Beast boy returned to his boy form and gently laid Raven aside resting her head gently on the ground. “Dude is she dead?” asked beast boy as he poked Ravens cheek, “poke me again and you’ll be *sniff* dead,” said Raven with barely opened eyes. “Open wide,” Cyborg said “Wait *sniff* what the HE-…” said Raven before Cyborg stuffed his handy thermometer (literally) in her mouth. “What’s the temp?” asked Robin, “Well…” replied Cyborg “Did you *sniff* just stick your finger in my mouth?” asked Raven. “102 she’s got a slight fever.”  Cyborg replied, completely ignoring Raven’s question. “Shall I prepare the glorpox stew?” said a starry eyed Starfire. “No!” Robin replied as he peered into the city, “We go after him tonight.” “Even with one damaged arm Dr. Light still has enough power to wipe out half the city.” A sudden gust of wind swept across the city carrying the scent of sea water and engine oil. “Beast boy! I want you to take care of Raven” Robin said with his back turned to beast boy. “WHAT HIM/ME!” Raven and beast boy shouted simultaneously.
